No, wait, I'm not going to make any New Year's resolutions. This year I am going to set some goals. Yep, that's it goals...set some goals.
Of course like every year I will have the goals of a healthier diet and a more active lifestyle. I think I did a decent job with those two last year. I did manage to lose a little over 10 pounds and I didn't regain them all over the holidays. And until that little broken ankle episode in March (the 8th at approximately 9:00am, not that it had much impact on my life thank you very much, but I digress) I was doing an excellent job of working out at least 4 days a week at the gym. My favorite elliptical practically had a reserved sign on it, that baby was mine for high intensity intervals every other day. And the weight machines, move it people it's my turn now. I am building up to my pre break levels and using the treadmill more because it forces my ankle through a wider range of motion. I'm walking more often on non gym days. Sometimes I set an alarm on my phone that prompts me to go walk...NOW!
Next time I'll talk about my creative goals. And I hope I have the chance to add some pics to this one before it posts. Fingers crossed.
